What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is...

  • a natural occuring state.
  • a deep physical and mental relaxation.
  • a state of focused attention.

Hypnosis allows you to connect with the subconscious mind; where your beliefs, emotions, and memories are stored. Hypnosis also gives you the ability to move forward and backward in time mentally and emotionally, through your memories which are easily accessible during hypnosis.

Hypnosis is gentle, safe, and effective.

Hypnosis is NOT sleep. Even though the hypnotized person may close their eyes, and be deeply relaxed, electroencephalogram (EEG) studies show that hypnotized persons are fully awake and alert. Your body is relaxed, yet your mind is focused
You are always aware and in control.

 

Most importantly all hypnosis is self-hypnosis.

So what does that mean exactly?

It means that I don't DO anything to you. This is an empowering process...this is truly YOUR process. It's important to remember that I am the facilitator in this process. I am here to guide and support you, and to keep you on track holding the thread of the goal throughout all our work together.
